Greta to hear from you guys. You are a topic of conversation every Wednesday. Jealousy doesn’t even come close to describing the tone. It sounds like you guys are getting your sea legs. I’m looking forward to more instalments of the adventures of Margie and ol’ what’s ‘is name.
Hi, John. We hope you can come sailing with us sometime!
Margy, your adventures sound other-worldly. You’re so lucky to see the sights you are recording, eat the food you describe and meet interesting people from all over, in addition to learning about new cultures. I say you’re lucky, but you have worked damned hard to be competent to navigate that boat. Enjoy it!!
Thanks, Mary. Great to hear from you! Keep in touch!
When did Monty go blond?
Thanks Margy and Monty – am following along vicariously!
Safe travels home.
Thanks, Lynn. Be back soon!
Happy Birthday Margy!!!
Rod tipped me off you had headed out on your journey! The blog is very well done. All the best! A good Traveler has no fix plans and is not intent on arriving – Tzu
Wow, thanks for the travelogue Margie, really enjoyable! One question,……I see Monty paddling his windsurfer quite a bit, is he looking for his rig?
belated birthday greetings Margie!
Wow! you guys are really living it. Lisa and I are in South Africa working on getting our boat ready for departure end of March. We will be heading east so look out for us.
We have so enjoyed following you on your adventures. Hope to join you on s/v Whistler one of these days. You’ve inspired us to look more closely at the cats. Safe travels home. Let us know if you ever come through LA.
Just had a look at your wonderful adventures and menues!
You realy choosed the best possible way of life and I enjoy reading from You .

No amount of money in the world can buy experience. Hats off to you both for all of this!!! Look forward to the photos and later the stories. XOXO
Awesome pictures M.
Beautiful pictures. Saw the paddle boards; where is the kite stashed?
Margy, I gather from the comments above that you are the photographer. I am really impressed by your photos. Would you mind sharing what gear you are using to capture those incredible shots?
Wow! You sure are living the dream. Keep the photos and stories flowing. Love to hear about the adventure. Just googled Fiji and Tonga so I have an idea of where you are. Looks like you have covered much of Fiji according to the Delorme maps.
Hi, Greg. We have covered some of Fiji, but only set foot on 7 of 300 islands. As for Tonga, we have only been to the Vavau Group. More blogging to come! Hope all is well. When are you coming for a visit?
Hi Margy & Monty,Geoff English sent me the link to your “adventure site”. My name is Brent and my wife name is Kim Kraushar. I am recently inspired to purchase a catamaran and start with an adventure in the Caribbean. We have owned a house on Isla Mujeres for 10 years and have a friend with a marina for dock/mooring. We will be following you now to stay inspired and perhaps in 1 1/2 to 2 years start own our similar adventure. Be safe and thanks for sharing…
Let us know if you have any questions about cats and cruising! We are loving it, though it has its challenges at times! Margy
Hi Margy & Monty, SUCH a great site! Thanks so much for all the helpful information about where you’re sailed, not to mention letting us have an eye on your marvelous adventures! We’re sorry we won’t get to see you in Tonga, but maybe we will see you in New Zealand. We put Whistler on our followed blogs on the main page of our svgoldenglow.com blog because yours really is an excellent resource.. Ellen & Rand
It’s been awhile ! So happy to read of your adventures. You both look so happy!
Rachelle (NBF days)
Monty and I say hi. Please keep in touch!
Hey Monty and Margy,
Still going hard, things are going great. I was wondering when you plan on selling the boat….!?
Hi, Richard! Good to hear from you! All the best, Margy and Monty
Michelle and I got to visit you when we tagged along with John and Amanda as Mahina students when we visited your lovely boat in Wallis.
Flash forward to the Annapolis boat show and we were touring the Antaries boat chatting about how this was the same type boat we were on in Wallis and all I could remember was the nicknames that Amanda had given you “Poodle and Eye Candy”. Within a fraction of a second Beth Simkins interjects from behind us “Monty and Margy” She must have radar ears because we were in the other hull!
That is funny. Hope you enjoyed the show! Did you buy a boat?
