We have been back in New Zealand about 3 1/2 weeks now. Found the boat in good order. Our caretaker, Peter, had done a great job.
Back at the Town Basin dock.
We hauled the boat out at Norsand and dealt with a number of projects like new anti-fouling paint and some stainless steel arch repairs.

Growth on the props and hulls
Lots of sanding and scrubbing ahead!
We stayed on the boat while it was on the hard. It was an interesting experience. Reminded me of camping in Canada.
The ladder access to the boat was interesting!
We learned a lot by being around the various trades. Monty said it was like being an apprentice in every trade!
Our rigger, Gerry, up the mast
Micron 77 for the bottom paint
Prop speed painted on the props

Our boat acting as a garage for the rental car. We moved the car during the day to keep it from getting covered in dust from all the sanding going on around us.
Our view of the river from our boat.
Sunrise from our cockpit, on my way to the toilets!
On the way back to the river
Ready to splash
